Wayne K. Brown of Pointe-du-Chêne and Moncton
passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont
University Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of
Natalie Brown (Patriquin) and the late Joseph Brown.
Wayne was a self-employed entrepreneur for most of his
working career. He loved spending time with family and friends whether
it be playing cards, lawn darts or cheering on the Montreal Canadiens
while spending time at either the cottage in Pointe-du-Chêne
or Grand Lake as well as the camp in Greenville Station,
NS.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Patricia
(Flewwelling); daughters, Marilyn (Stephen Stevens) Collette of
Salisbury, Brenda (Ryan) Killam of Boundary Creek, Lori (Marc)
Nickerson of Riverview, Carolyn (Al Lacey) Spencer of Hampton, Melissa
(Brad) Dawe of Moncton; son, Jamie (Jennifer) of Moncton;
grandchildren, Nick, Christy, Kenny, Jessica, Josh, Marley, Johnathan,
Tyler, Jasmin, Kiera, Ethan, Ryder, Corben and Caleigh; 7
great-grandchildren; sister, Judy (Rod) Benjamin of Pugwash; brothers,
David (Cindy) of Salisbury, Bill (Gisele) of Scoudouc; sister in law,
Marilyn Brown of Quispamsis; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, Wayne was predeceased by a brother,
Doug.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road
Riverview (869-2007) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm, with a service
celebrating Wayne’s life to take place on Thursday,
September 3, 2015 at 1:30 PM at the funeral home chapel with Pastor
Roger Bevans officiating. Donations made to the Palliative Care Unit
of the CHU Dumont Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the
