Alan Walker of Riverview passed away at his residence on Monday, October 5, 2015. Born in Pointe-du-Chêne, he was the son of the late Frederick C. and Helen E. (Brydges) Walker.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Margaret (MacAleese); children, Stephen (Judy) and Cynthia (Tom) Miller; grandchildren, Robert (Nadia) Miller, Amber Miller, Ryan Walker,  and Stevie Walker; great-grandson, Dylan Miller; sister, Loris (Vernon) Ward of Moncton; and brothers, Richard of Miramichi and Charles of Scottsdale, AZ. Besides his parents, Alan was predeceased by his brother, Fred.

Alan was a great Dad and a wonderful Grampy who dearly loved and enjoyed his grandchildren. He was employed with General Motors Canada for over 30 years and a member of the Masonic Fraternity here in Riverview, Coverdale Lodge #52.

A funeral service celebrating his life will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 11am with Rev. Dr. Andrew O’Neill officiating. Donations made to the CHU Dumont Foundation Dialysis Unit or the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
