Earl Duff, 91, of The War Veteran’s Health Center
passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at The Moncton Hospital.
Born in Synton, Albert Co., he was the son of the late Warren and
Lulubelle (Leaman). He was a war veteran of WWll with the Royal
Canadian Army. Having served overseas with the NB Rangers. He then had
a career with The Government of Canada as a Public Servant and retired
after 27 years of service.
He will be dearly missed by his children, Nancy (Ron) of
Salisbury, Ina (Bob) of Lakeville, Dawn (Bert) of Shediac Bridge and
Warren (Linda) of Chilliwack, BC; as well as his seven grandchildren,
ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He is also
survived by three special nieces who visited him often, Janette,
Thelma, and Chris. He was the last surviving member of his
immediate family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife,
Dorothy, his son Art, sisters Freda and Ruth, brothers Max, Seymour,
Les and Stan and two infant siblings.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (869-2007) on Thursday, March 23, from 6 – 8pm
with the Royal Canadian Legion Moncton Branch #6 holding a memorial
service at 5:45pm from the funeral home. A funeral service will take
place at Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Friday,
March 24, 2017 at 11am with Rev. Bill Parks and Rev. Paul Steeves
officiating. Donations can be made in Earl’s memory to Five
