Real Ferlatte of Riverview, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 at The Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital. Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of the late Jean and Martha (Losier) Ferlatte.

Real was a retired sports reporter for Radio Canada, he loved to spend time outside, had a special place in his heart for animals, and a true passion for sports of all sorts having played many of them himself in his younger years.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Madeleine Losier-Ferlatte; daughter, Rachel Lanteigne (Sebastien Breau) of Fredericton; son, Maxime Jean Ferlatte (Erica Sollows) of Riverview; stepsons, Charles Losier (Natalie) of Moncton and George Losier of Riverview; a sister, Marielle Savoie; 4 grandchildren; Olivier, Kayla, Morgan and Emily; a great-grandchild, Lily; his former wife, Lucie Lanteigne; as well as several nieces and nephews. A time to share and celebrate his life will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Thursday, April 27, from 11am – 2pm.
