David Matthews of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton
Hospital on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Born in Toronto, he was
the son of Ronald Saulnier and Lindsey Matthews of
Riverview.
David had a passion for his work, motorcycles, music,
concerts and loved to travel. Spending time with family and
friends was what he enjoyed most and an important part of his life was
shared with his boxer Shelby. David had been employed with G. Bourque
Ltd. in Dieppe for many years where he was appreciated by his clients
and coworkers.
Besides his parents, he will be dearly missed and forever in
the hearts of his sister, Amy Matthews (Andrew) of St.
Catherine’s, ON and his brother, Jesse Matthews of Red Deer,
AB, paternal grandmother Stella Saulnier of Moncton, uncles David
Matthews (Angela) and Terry and Louis Saulnier, cousins Bill (Leah,
Taylor and Mila) and Doug (Alex), Audrey. He also had
relatives in England which he enjoyed meeting for the first time last
year.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Saturday May 27,2017 from 2 –
4 PM. A service celebrating his life will take place from
Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Sunday, May 28, 2017
at 1 PM with Archdeacon Brent Ham presiding. Online condolences may be
