Juanita Kathleen Steeves, of Riverview, passed away quietly in her sleep with family next to her, on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Kathleen (Dargavel) Steeves.

In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bridge, doing crossword puzzles, knitting, quilting, and loved spending time outside gardening.  She especially loved spending time with her children, grand children and great grand children.

Juanita will be lovingly remembered by her daughters; Christine Korotash (Demond) of Russell, ON and Carole Jones of Halifax, sons; Stephen Jones (Darlene) of Riverview and Malcolm Jones (Elizabeth) of Deep River, ON, brother Waldo Steeves of Kentville, NS, grandchildren; Meaghan Jones (David), Kathryn Fallowfield (Colin), Andrew Jones (Kenzie), Graham Jones, Emily Gregory and Amethyste Gregory, great grandchildren; Jacob Jones, Kira Gregory and Arthur Fallowfield, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers: Clarke, Louis and Douglas Steeves, and sisters; Lillian Pridham and Lorna Canning.

 A service celebrating Juanita’s life will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 11 AM with Rev. Frank Trail officiating.  Donations to The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Condolences can be expressed at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca
