Lisa Mitton of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Born in Charlottetown, PE., she was the daughter of Maureen (Fougere) and the late David Cove.

Lisa led a quiet and happy life that revolved around family and friends, especially her boys. She liked to spend her time close to home walking, reading, solving puzzles and playing cards. In recent months, a new love entered her life in the form of Oliver the golden doodle puppy. Lisa enjoyed her career as a nurse and the relationships developed in her many years working in the operating room at The Moncton Hospital.

She was much loved and will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Al, of 30 years; sons, Michael of Fredericton and Patrick of Moncton; mother, Maureen Cove of Riverview; sister, Karen Cove (Andrew Morrison) of Fredericton; brother, Mark Cove (Dawn MacDonald) of Dartmouth, NS; as well as her niece and nephews.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00pm. A service celebrating Lisa’s life will take place at Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:00am with Father Charles Broderick officiating. Reception to follow.
