Jeannine Bourque, 89, of Moncton, formerly of Shediac, passed
away on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at The Moncton Hospital. She was the
daughter of the late Aurelle and Marie Cormier of
Shediac.
After graduating Business College, Jeannine went onto a
long-time career with the Bank of Montreal. Upon retirement, she
worked at the Magnetic Hill Game Farm mainly because of her great love
for all animals. Jeannine was a very loving, generous and kind woman
who would go out of her way to help anyone. She loved cooking,
bowling, knitting, crossword puzzles, scratching lotto tickets and
watching her favourite game shows – the Price is Right and
Family Feud.
She is survived by her daughter, Rachelle of Moncton; son,
Bobby (Linda) of Riverview; brother, Edouard (Marie-Anne) of Shediac;
several nieces and nephews; as well as her precious fur grandbabies,
Maxwell and Radar. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her
husband, Robert Sr., and a special friend Noe
Bourgeois.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview E1B 0E4 (869-2007) on Wednesday from 6:00 –
8:00pm. A service honouring Jeannine’s life will take place
at the funeral home on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 11:00am with Father
Charles Broderick presiding. Cremation has taken place and a private
family burial will be held at a later date. Donations can be made in
Jeannine’s memory to the Greater Moncton SPCA. Online
