Vera Irene Turner of Riverview went to be at home with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Born in Havelock, she was the daughter of the late Conn and Mildred (Thorne) Perry.

 Vera had been employed with Telus in Calgary for over 18 years prior to moving to Riverview. She was very creative and passionate about crafts and was faithful in writing notes to friends and family who she loved dearly.

Left to mourn her beloved husband William (Bill) of 35 years; daughter, Laura Lee Johnston (Larry Pattinson) of Manhurst; granddaughter, Jordann Johnston of Riverview; brother, Locke Perry (Janet) of Woodstock; sisters, Lois Reid of Calgary; Delores (Eric) McDonald and Charlene Woodworth all of Riverview, brother-in-law, Jack Barliak; sister-in-law Jean Perry; step children: Sheila Turner, Douglas Turner (Barb), Cindy Smith (Cameron), Julie Groff (Norm), Bill Turner (Nancy) and their children and grandchildren, as well as aunts, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son, Lloyd; son-in-law, Gerald Johnston; sister Joan Barliak; brother, Royce Perry and brother-in-law Dennis Woodworth.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview on Wednesday May 23, 2018 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM, a service celebrating Vera’s life will be held on Thursday May 24, 2018 at 11:00am at Glad Tidings Church, 2460 Mountain Road, Moncton with Rev. Paul Pattison officiating. The interment will take place at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations to Harvest House or the memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
