Passed away on June 19, 2018.

Born in Halifax, NS on December 20th, 1943, the daughter of the late George and Lillie (Ford) Young. She attended Queen Elizabeth High School in Halifax. She worked for many years and Maritime Tel & Tel.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Riverview, a member of the UCW and choir.

Survived by three daughters, Cheryl (Bruce) Wolfe, Heather (Don) Gautreau, Cathy Gaudet (Wayne) and four grandchildren, Haley (Joel), Graham, Taylor, and Larissa. One sister Marilyn (Gordon) Hamlin, Timberlea, NS, George (Sharon) Young, Bridgewater, NS, sister-in-law Elaine Mulhall, Miramichi, NB, brother-in-law Gordon Dickson, Halifax, NS, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and her husband Wayne Dickson.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00pm. A private graveside service will take place in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Sharon’s memory can be made to Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation.
