It is with sadness that we announce the loss of a wonderful
wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend; however, it is also with
relief we see the end of her struggle with Alzheimers. Theresa Deveau,
of Riverview, passed away at the Lakeview Manor on Monday, November
12, 2018. Born in Margaree, NS, she was the daughter of the late
Arsene and Rosanne (Cormier) LeBlanc.
As a stay at home mom, Theresa, was a true "home
maker", so much so she was known as the neighbourhood mom.
She was deeply devoted to her family and loved the outdoors, either in
her flower garden or playing with her grandchildren.
Theresa will be remembered by her husband Bob Deveau,
daughters; Bonnie (Bob) Casey of Moncton, Paula (Rob) Fuller of
Riverview, sister Zoe (Wayne Shinners) Phillips of Bedford, NS,
brothers; Joseph (Thelma) LeBlanc, Louie (Charlotte) LeBlanc both of
Halifax, NS and grandchildren; Samantha (Eric Tremblay) Casey, Vince
Casey, Brittany Fuller and Benjamin Fuller.
She will also be remembered as a cherished aunt to many
nieces and nephews, including her godchildren.
Aside from her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her
sisters; Lucie-Marie (Infant), Annie-Rose, Lucie-Mae, Julia,
Marie-Louise and her brothers Francis and Levi.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Lakeview
Manor for the care and compassion shown to both Theresa and her
family.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 19, 2018
at 11:00am at Holy Family RC Church, 52 Falkland St. Moncton N.B. with
Fr. Phil Mulligan presiding. Funeral arrangements entrusted to
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (869-2007).
In lieu of flowers donations in Theresa’s memory may be made
