Martha A. McKinley of Riverview passed away on Thursday,
March 28th at the Moncton Hospital after a
brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Frances
(McKeever) Glynn.
Martha was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother. She spent much of her life cooking and
caring for her husband and four children. She also enjoyed her time
volunteering with the ladies society of Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Never one to show up empty handed, her plate of goodies was always
appreciated, especially her legendary cream puffs. In
addition to working at home, she had various jobs outside the home,
many of them in sales. In later years, she thrived in working in real
estate alongside her husband Bernie at Century 21.
Martha was a devoted Catholic whose faith carried her through
life, in both joyous and difficult times, especially through the loss
of her husband. She leaves behind her faith, love and guidance to help
her family through this difficult time.
Martha will be sadly missed by her children, Joan (Terry)
Belliveau, Peggy (Marc) Vautour, Peter (Paula) and Lynn (Dwayne)
Simkins. Mourning the loss of their Nannie Martha are her 11
grandchildren, Andrew, Peter, Nicholas, Jessica, Kelli, Michael, Sara,
Rebecca, Thomas, Brett & Wil and great-grandsons, Cooper
& Shay. Also, leaving behind her brother Tom (Lucy)
Glynn.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband
Bernard (2005) and brother Paul in 2009.
During Martha’s brief illness, there were many
doctors, nurses and caregivers helping her and her family. A
special thank you to Dr. Ravneet Comstock, Dr. Samad and Dr. D.
