It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Joshua Burrell of Turtle Creek, which took place on Friday November 15, 2019 at The Moncton Hospital following a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was the son of Orville and Heather (McDavid) Burrell, Lee and Heather (Anchor) Killam.

Josh was a one of a kind man. His love and kindness surpassed anyone’s expectation of an individual. He touched everyone who had the extreme pleasure of knowing him. His passion for his children and family was unmeasurable. He loved music and was a natural musician. He was a foodie and an amazing cook. All knew his love of pizza and chicken wings.

Besides his parents he will be dearly missed by his wife, Laura; daughters Paige (Moncton) and Hope (Nfld); grandparents: Linda McDavid, Gary and Sue Anchor; sisters: Noelle Mitton (Wade), Vicky Dean and Lisa Burrell, brothers: Theo Burrell and Charles Burrell (Lise): many aunts and uncles, several nieces and nephews; life long friend Trevor, special cousin Liz; father and mother-in-law, Lorne and Mary Ellen Graves; brother-in-laws: Jeff Graves (Catherine) and Steven Graves (Leslie).

He was predeceased by his grandfathers: Ralph McDonald, David Killam and Clifford McDavid; grandmothers: Trudy Cormier, Eleanor McDonald and Goldie Killam and brother-in-law Jesse Bates.

The family would like to thank everyone on the Neurology floor at the Moncton Hospital for the care, compassion and love they showed Josh and our family. We would especially like to thank Dr. Charest and Dr. Adams; his nurses in his final hours: Matt, Scott, Travis and Nicole.

To Donna…there are no words to describe the comfort you gave us in knowing how safe he felt with you.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Monday from 6-8 PM, Tuesday from 1-3 and 6-8 PM, a celebration of Joshua’s life will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 2 PM.
