Jim Wilson, of Riverview, passed away at the Drew Nursing
Home in Sackville, NB, on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
Born in Toronto, he was the son of the late Clifford and
Grace (Boyce) Wilson. He was a member of The
Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. A member of the
Knights of Columbus 3rd degree Council 9270 and
a 4th degree knight
with the Msgr. Roy M. MacDonald
Assembly. Jim graduated from the Canadian Memorial
Chiropractic College in 1960. However, it was shortly
after graduation that he found his true calling in
sales and later, was self employed until his retirement.
Jim had a bucket list; learn to be a
pilot, play the bagpipes and become a politician. As the
saying goes 2 out of 3 is not bad. He was a politician for 9 years and
very active in the community. Jim
went flying through life like a jet.
However, he never did learn the Bagpipes as some
folks could not tolerate the noise of him practising.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Anne
Marie, sons; Kevin
(Heather) and Gregory (Shirley), and
daughter, Elaine Bayley,
five exceptional grandchildren and 3
cherished great grandchildren. Besides his parents,
he was predeceased by a sister, Blanche
Richardson.
A private prayer service will take place from
Cobb’s Funeral Home, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview
(869-2007), with a celebration of Jim’s life to take place
at a later date due to the
current Covid crisis. The interment will
take place in the Alderwood Cemetery at a later
date. Donations may be made to The Drew Nursing Home in
Sackville or of the donor’s choice would
be appreciated by his family. Online condolences
