Garth Berry of Riverview passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Lachute, QC, he was the son of the late James and Evelyn (Priestly) Berry.

Garth had retired from Buccaneer Industries following a successful 45 year career. He was a Third Degree Member of The Knights of Columbus and the Independent Order of Foresters, where he dedicated much of his time as a volunteer along with The Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He also loved to curl and bowl.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Simone of over 61 years; daughters, Linda Berry, Lisa Roufosse (Gary) and Liana Evans (Peter), son, Paul (Kimberly); 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Elaine Fuller (Donald); brother, Clifton (Francois),  as well as several nieces and nephews. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Arnold and Eric.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, (869-2007) on Sunday, July 26 from 2 – 4 PM with the first hour (FROM 2-3PM FOR SENIORS OVER 65) and from 3-4 PM for those under 65. The funeral mass will be celebrated from The Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 11 AM with Father Phil Mulligan Presiding.  Due to Covid 19, social distancing all those planning on attending the funeral mass are asked to phone or email the funeral home to reserve seating with the number in your group (Bubble).  Donations can be made in Garth’s memory to The Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (Building Fund).
