Carol Burbine of Riverview passed away on August 5, 2020.  Born in Maccan, NS, she was the daughter of the Late Lex McLellan and Annie (Ripley) McLellan.  She earned her degree in Education from Acadia University and later enjoyed a career as an Interior Decorator.  She was very creative with her sewing, painting and decorating and loved spending summers with the family at the cottage in Tidnish, NS. Carol was also a member of the Trinity United Church.

She will be dearly missed by daughter Jill (Peter) Coggins, son Sean (Angie) Burbine, sister Gwen (Stan) McCormick, brothers Sterle (Monica) McLellan, Jack (Christie-Ann) McLellan and grandson Spencer.  Aside from her parents she was predeceased by her husband Earl Burbine and brother Bill McLellan.

There will be no visitation.  Due to Covid 19, a private service will be held on Tuesday August 11, 2020.  Carol’s arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007).  Her interment will take place at the Maccan Cemetery.  Donations made to Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated by her family.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca
