With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Judith Shawn McMaster (Perry) of Riverview NB.  Born January 29th 1939, Judy was the youngest daughter of the late Spurgeon and Lillian Perry (Herrington).  She was predeceased by her husband, William J McMaster and her sister Glen Flemming.

During 25 years of service with BMO, Judy enjoyed meeting and helping customers and to this day is recognized and fondly remembered by many from her bank days.  Leisure activities included years of camping with the little trailer (especially at their favourite site at Headquarters in Fundy Park) until finding the perfect spot in Meadow for their cozy cottage.  Judy loved picking berries for her homemade jams and jellies, making pickles and salsas, playing Bridge, outings with the Chocolate River Cuties Red Hatters, Canasta with the girls, and discovering treasures at her favorite store.  Born with two green thumbs, Judy took pride in her beautiful flowers and prolific vegetable gardens and loved sharing her extensive gardening knowledge.

Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis robbed Judy of her independence and mobility, leaving her dependent on oxygen to survive, but not her enthusiasm and zest for life.  Judy continued doing the things she loved long after her diagnosis with grace, dignity and determination.

Judy leaves behind her daughters Shelley Steeves (Bruce), Stuart and Emily; Cheryl Thomas (Stephen DeLong), Daniel and Lexi; Tammy Doyle (Patrick) Ellen and Carole and her son Daron Thomas (Debbie), Kyra, Yosef, Meron and Lily.  She will be dearly missed by her sister Elizabeth (Diddy) Martin, brother Jon Perry (Anne), nieces, nephews, numerous friends and her special friend John.

Heartfelt thanks are extended to the staff on 5100 at the Moncton Hospital and Lakeview Manor for their loving care, compassion and kindness to Judy and her loved ones.

The arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007).  Donations to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by her family.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca

A garden bed you tend with care, grows blossoms thick for all to share.
In bursting bud or flower fair, sweet smelling rose that scents the air.
Where flowers grow beyond compare, I’ll feel your love and linger there.
