Frances Hould passed away peacefully with her family at her side while at Monarch Hall in Riverview on Thursday, March 18, 2021.  Born in Stellarton, NS she was the daughter of the late William and Lina (Atkinson) Grealey.

She was a former Registered Nurse employed with the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax.  Frances was very active in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, where she was a longtime member of the Choir, she was also a member of The Grassettes Singing Group for 25 years and was involved in the Moncton Choral Group.  She enjoyed visits to the nursing homes for 25 years participating in the Catholic services and assisting with Communion.

She will be dearly missed by daughter Karin (Jeff) Cormier, son Stephen (Lori-Ann) Hould, her two precious grandchildren Brianna and Morissa as well as several nieces and nephews.  Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Barrie Hould of over 60 years, twin sons David and Jonathan, and several brothers and sisters.

Her family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Monday March 22, 2021 from 6-7 for seniors over 65 and from 7-8 for the general public. For those wishing to attend the service, please call or email the funeral home to reserve your seat. A service to celebrate her life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 1 pm with Father Charlie Broderick presiding.  Her interment will take place at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Donations made to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church or the Salvation Army would be appreciated by her family.
