It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Frederic Allen Kieley of Riverview, which occurred at Monarch Hall, Friday November 5, 2021.
Born in Halifax, he was the son of Allen and Muriel (Gibb) Kieley.
After graduation, Fred worked until his retirement in the financial industry. He was manager of Canada Permanent Trust and TD Canada Trust in Dartmouth N.S. and Moncton N.B.
Fred was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, a 4th Degree member of Knights of Columbus, a member of the Rotary Club, Probus, Chamber of Commerce, Dartmouth YMCA, Beaver Curling Club and Moncton Golf Club.
Fred is survived by his wife of 68 years Barbara, sons: Michael (Jane), Gregory (Catherine), Paul (Kathleen), grandchildren: Patrick, Laura, Christopher, Stephen, Jessica, Grant, and great-grandchildren: Rhys, Sterling and Emmeline.
Fred’s family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Monarch Hall for the compassion and care given to Fred and to his family as well.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church or Friends of The Moncton Hospital.
Fred’s family will be receiving family and friends on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (869-2007). A private family service will be held the following day with Fr. Phil Mulligan officiating. For those wishing to attend the visitation please remember to bring proof of double vaccination, provincial identification and have your face mask. Interment will take place in the Fair Haven Cemetery.
