Charlie Conley of Riverview passed away unexpectedly October 6, 2010
at the age of 71. Born December 29, 1938 in St. Andrew’s, NB, he
was the son of the late Edwin and Meta (Rimmer) Conley. Charlie
retired from CN Telecommunication following several years of dedicated
service, a member of Whitepine Baptist Church, and the seniors amateur
radio club. A true and honest person who would lend a helping hand to
anyone, he enjoyed tinkering with many things, in particular
locksmithing. Charlie volunteered and gave generously of his time to
Camp Wildwood, Whitepine Baptist Church, family, friends, and
strangers.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Marion (Dagley) Conley, daughters, Janice Hicks (Greg) of Riverview and Nancy Pinkerton (Barry) of Edinburgh, Scotland. Besides his parents he was predeceased by several half brothers and sisters.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Friday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Saturday October 9th at 11:00 AM with Rev. Frank Trail officiating with the interment to take place at Fair Haven Cemetery. Donations to Camp Wildwood or Whitepine Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
