Dennis MacNeil of Prosser Brook, passed away on Friday April 18, 2014 at The Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital with his loving family at his side. Born in Toronto he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (McVeigh) MacNeil. Dennis retired from Auto Haul away following a 32 years service. He was a member and former 1st Vice President of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #41, Petitcodiac and the 1st Vice President of the Air Cadet League of Canada, NB Committee where he had serves as chairman on 2 occasions.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Murray, daughters; Connie Xidos (George) of Halifax, Crista Wood of Petitcodiac, son, Troy Williams of Miramichi, sister, Mary Hitchock (Michael) of Georgetown, ON, brothers; Terry (Darlene) of Port Sydney, ON, Kelly (Wendy) of Innisfil, ON and Thomas of Brampton, five grandchildren; Sheila, Eva, Katelyn, Julia and Adam, his mother in law, Anna Murray of Riverview, sister in laws; Della Tower (Terry) of Riverview and Glendine Hicks (Scott) of Prosser Brook, brother in laws; Terry Murray of Moncton and Peter Steeves (Ann) of Turtle Creek, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister Cathy MacNeil.

 The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007)  on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch hold a memorial service at 6:30 from the funeral home. The funeral service to take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on  Tuesday April 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Leonard Geldart officiating. The interment will take place at the Prosser Brook Cemetery at a later date. Donations to The Kidney Foundation or the Palliative Care Unit of The Dr. Georges L.
