Reg Lewis of Riverview passed away at his residence, Lakeview Manor, on Monday, November 17, 2014. Born in Havelock, he was the son of the late Chesley and Robie Lewis (MacKenzie). He was a member of Gunningsville Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon and choir member. Reg was also a former President of the Gospel Music Festival Association, former supervisor at CN Intermodal for over 34 years and a life-long member of Transportation Club.

He will be forever in the hearts of his loving wife, Joanne Lewis (Hicks); sons, Jeffrey (Mary Lou) of Riverview, John (Jan MacKinnon) of Amherst; sister, Bessie (Harris) Lutes of Monteagle; brothers, Bruce (Dorothy) of Salisbury, Keith of Monteagle; grandson, Brett, and granddaughter, Alycia. Besides his parents, Reg was predeceased by a sister, Myrna Sherwood.

The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. (869-2007) on Wednesday from 6-8pm. A service celebrating Reg’s life will take place from Gunningsville Baptist Church on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Blair Holden officiating. The interment will follow in Monteagle Cemetery. Donations made to Lakeview Manor or the Friends of The Moncton Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
