Aldana Chapman of Golden Years Estate passed away on Sunday,
March 29, 2015. Born in Lower Cove, NS, she was the daughter of the
late Charles and Catherine (Symes) Brown.
Aldana had several hobbies some of which were, sewing,
quilting and knitting and she had a great love for cooking and baking.
She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Sunny Brae Legion
Branch #54.
She will be dearly missed by daughters, Sandra Chapman of
Moncton, Linda (Kevin) Hatt of Pennfield; son, Dean (Paulette
Bourgeois) Chapman of Portage Vale; sisters, Phyllis Brown of Amherst,
Grace (Wyman) Cove of Amherst, Mary (Richard) Hull of Amherst; Thelma
(Roger) McIver of River Hebert; brothers, Douglas (Pauline) Brown of
Amherst, Henry Brown of Bayfield, Clayton (Jeannie) Brown of Amherst;
6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and
nephews. Besides her parents, Aldana was predeceased by 2 brothers and
1 sister.
Aldana graciously donated her body to Medical Science. In
respecting her wishes there will be no visitation a private family
service will take place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care
of Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Rd., Riverview (869-2007). Donations made to the Friends of The
Moncton Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) or the Moncton SPCA
