Paul Odilion Joseph Pitre of Riverview passed away on Monday,
April 20, 2015 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the
son of the late Joseph and Georgina (Cormier) Pitre.
Paul was retired from the Dept. of Transport, Fredericton
Airport, having been posted in many locations including the Arctic and
Goose Bay. He was an avid collector. His collections included model
aircrafts, coins and stamps. He also enjoyed travelling in his spare
time.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Jean (Lewis);
daughters, Sharron Willmer (Terry) of Spruce Grove, AB, Cathy
Mazerolle (Mark) of Calgary, AB, Linda Daniels (Ralph) of New
Hampshire, Ann Scaplen (David) of Goose Bay, NL; step daughters, Lynn
Colepaugh (Chris) of Riverview, Stacey Atkinson (David) of Ottawa;
sisters, Marie Therese Foster of Thunder Bay, Murielle Chan of
Richmond, BC; brother, Edouard (Delores) of Moncton, seven
grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews. Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his first wife,
Beatrice; son, Peter; brothers, Henri, Neri, Jean-Marie and a sister,
Eva Bourgeois.
A private family visitation will take place on Wednesday from
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (869-2007). A service celebrating Paul’s life will
take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on
Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 11am with Father Phil Mulligan
officiating. Donations made to a memorial of the donor’s
