We sadly announce the passing of Barbara L. Carter on May 21, 2015 at The Sackville Memorial Hospital. She was born in Petiticodiac, NB, on March 28, 1926, Barbara was the daughter of the late Leroy and Georgia (Taylor) King.

Barbara was employed with the Scotia Bank in Petitcodiac and later with Eaton’s in Moncton. She was a founding member of St. Philips Anglican Church in Moncton, where Barbara was member of the ACW and a member of the Altar Guild, and had been a member of the Lions Senior Citizen Group.

Barbara will be dearly missed by her daughter-in-law, Linda-Lou (Roach) Carter of Riverview, step sisters; Barbara Harper (late Bill) of Anagance, Jane (Wayne) Carter of Homestead Rd., Donna ( Rob) Vanbuskirk of Moncton, and a sister in law Judy King (late Willard) of Riverview; grandchildren; Darcy Carter (Lisa), Angela Johnson (Ryan), Megan Billard (Jason), and Krista Girvan (Andrew), great grandchildren; Max, Olivia, David, Alexander, Lorelei, Isabel, Caleb, Maggie, Ava, Liam, Ruby and Ella. Barbara was predeceased by her husband William Carter and her son Gary Carter.

The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, (869-2007) on Tuesday, May 26th, from 6:00-8:00pm. A service of celebration for Barbara’s life will take place at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, 28 Woolridge Ave., Riverview, on Wednesday, May 27 at 11:00am. With the Venerable Brent Ham and Rev. Rod Black officiating.
