Ralph Sherrard of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton
Hospital on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Born in Boom Rd, Newcastle, he was
the son of the late George and Gladys (Mullen) Sherrard. Ralph
attended Gunningsville Baptist Church and was a retired custodian with
District 15 after 18 years of service.
He will be dearly missed by his loving children; Joanne
(Gary) Price of Upper Coverdale, Gary (Mary) of Riverview and Larry
(Anne) of Lower Coverdale; his 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren;
sisters, Bertha Scott, Evelyn Colepaugh, Freda Samms, Addie
McAllister, and Carolyn Perkins; brothers, Raymond, Carl, Sherman,
Merlyn, Neil and Arnold Sherrard. Besides his parents, Ralph was
predeceased by his loving wife, Helen, in 2010; brothers, Charles,
Edmund, and Burton Sherrard; and a sister, Mabel
McAllister.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 6:00- 8:00 pm. A service
celebrating Ralph’s life will take place from
Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Thursday, May 28,
2015 at 11:00am with Rev. Blair Holden officiating. The burial will
follow in Scotch Settlement Cemetery. Donations made to Scotch
Settlement Cemetery would be greatly appreciated by the family. Online
