Cleo Patrick Gallant of Lower Coverdale passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Rogerville, NB he was the son of the late Moses and Angelina (LeBlanc) Gallant. Cleo enjoyed day trips driving though the countryside with Doreen, stopping along the way for picnics, whenever possible. When he wasn’t busy at home spending time in his garden, he could be found with a saw, or hammer in hand, puttering away at his many projects. He cherished time spent with family and friends and enjoyed the serenity of fly fishing on a New Brunswick river somewhere. He had retired from Pepsi-Cola following a 43-year career in the Maritime soft drink industry.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Doreen (MacNaughton), daughters: MaryBeth Shean (Gary) of Charlotte, NC and Cathy Bernard (Mike) of Bonshaw, PE, sisters: Claudette Gallant of Vancouver BC and Jeanette Gallant of Windsor, ON, a brother: Ron (Helga) of Red Deer AB, grandchildren: Garth and Brock, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a son, Rick, sister, Hilda and two brothers; Fern and Raymond.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Tuesday from 6 -8 PM, with a service celebrating Cleo’s life to take place at Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Wednesday July 29, 2015 at 1:30 PM with Rev.
