Betty Lynn Cornell
1933-2019
Betty Lynn Cornell of Stoney Creek, passed away at the Forest Dale Nursing Home on February 19, 2019. Born in Sackville, she was the daughter of the late Chancey and Doris Hicks (Purdy).
She will be dearly missed by daughters Lynn (Ray) LeClerc of Ottawa, Candy (Ron) Cornell of Riverview, sons; Alan (Jane Ann) Sears of Fredericton, Larry James (Carrie) Cornell of Stoney Creek; sister Dawn (Pierce) Kinnie of Riverview, 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and her special friend Vincent (Bing) Geldart. Aside from her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband, James and sister Jean of Amherst, NS.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 6:00pm till 8:00pm. A service of celebration will take place on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 11:00am with Rev. Carol Mullin officiating. The interment will take place in Fair Haven Cemetery. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
