David Bannister of Boundary Creek passed away Saturday April
11, 2020 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born
in Moncton he is the son of Clarence Bannister and the late Shirley
Bannister (nee Tower).
At the age of 15, Dave started working for Wallace Warehouse
and Cartage. He was an owner/operator for Allied Van Lines from
1981-2012. In retirement Dave and Kathy fulfilled another dream of
theirs in becoming the proud owners of Second Chance Antiques and
looked forward to spending his weekends with his friends at
Dexter’s Flea market. He was extremely proud of the life he
and his soul mate Kathy built together and of their children. Dave was
happiest being surrounded by his loving wife, children, grandchildren,
siblings and extended family.
He will be sadly missed by his soulmate Kathy, children:
Tammy (Vince), Khrista, Sonya (Jason), David, Kevin (Janic), Steve
(Cherie), sisters: Phyllis, Cathie (John), Bev (Fred), Kim (Larry),
Darlene and his brother Rick (Debbie). Dave will also be missed by his
grandchildren: Christopher, Brooke, Jacob, Austin, Crandall, Maggie,
Emma, Calvin, Ryan, Trenton, Maddison, great-grandchild Brynn and his
many nieces and nephews.
Aside from his mother, Dave was predeceased by his sister
Nancy Bannister.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview (869-2007). from 1:00 - 2:30 (for seniors age 55
and over, and from 3:30 - 5:00 for the general public. Due
to Covid 19 social distancing will be
implemented.
In lieu of flowers or donations, honor Dave’s
memory by being good to each other and performing acts of kindness in
his memory.
