Jeffrey Ronald MacDougall

Jeffrey Ronald MacDougall

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Jeffrey Ronald MacDougall April 1, 2021 peacefully at home in Riverview, NB surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Charlottetown, PEI, Jeff was the youngest of four children born to John and the late Marylee (Doyle).  He is survived by his wife Bonnie (Mauger), sons Johnathan and Joshua, stepson William (Billy) Reeves, Father John, brothers Brian, John, Robert.

Jeff’s family was his pride and joy, especially his sons. He and Bonnie loved to watch the boys play sports and see them grow up to the young men that they are today. Jeff was proud and honoured to be a part of the Cavendish Farms, Cavendish Produce and most recently, Cavendish Agri Services group of companies for more than 20 years.

The family would like to extend their heart felt thanks to their many dear friends who stood alongside them all during his illness. To the doctors and nurses at the Dr. Sheldon Rubin Oncology Centre, in particular Doctors Cormier- Myers, Abdelsalam and Julie Carrier. Also, to the Extramural Nursing program, for the loving care and dignity shown to Jeff and our family ..... your kindness will never be forgotten.

Respecting his wishes, cremation has taken place. A service celebrating Jeff’s life will take place soon after travel restrictions have eased, and family members and friends are able to come together.  The arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007). Donations to The Friends of the Moncton Hospital or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
