Byron Vickers of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital
on April 24, 2021. Born in Fredericton, he was the son of the late
Hayward and Gladys (Goodine) Vickers. He was retired from Baxters
Dairy, he was known as Mr Fixit in the family and was a jack of all
trades.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Beatrice; son Kevin
(Margie) of Irishtown, daughter Tracy Lagacé (Charles) of
Salisbury, sister Sharon Vickers; step-daughters Pauline Theriault
(Patrick), Collette Doucette (Don), Renee Lagacé (Roland);
and his Step-son Mike Lagacé of Moncton and sister in law
Ann Vickers. He will also be missed by his granddaughters: Amanda,
Katelyn (Lisa), Natalie, Amber (Ryan), five step-grandchildren, six
step-greatgrandchildren and his niece Tammy Chamberlain. Besides his
parents, he was predeceased by his brother Alvin, infant sister,
Cheryl and his nephew Anthony Vickers.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (869-2007) on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday at
2:00pm with Rev. Cannon Chris VanBuskirk officiating. For those
attending his service, please call the funeral home to reserve your
seat. The interment will take place in Alderwood Cemetery.
