Garnet Tower of Lakeview Manor and formerly of Moncton was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 30, 2021. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Harvey and Beulah (Ayles) Tower.

Garnet was an active and faithful member of The Emmanuel Baptist Church in Moncton. He cherished his church and church family and could often be seen washing and polishing the floors and mowing the lawn. He was an avid lover of music and enjoyed playing his guitar and mandolin.

Garnet loved spending time with his family. He could often be found patiently waiting for his wife, and granddaughters at the mall, and was know as the personal taxi for all of his grandchildren.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 65 years, Lena (Barb) (Rathburn), daughter, Carolyn Gallant (Michel), grandchildren; Rachel Geldart (Kirk), Ashley Arsenault (Patrick), Michelle Gallant (Justin Wong) and Melissa Leaman (Brendan), great grandchildren; Nathan, Rowyn, Keaton, Fitz and Kipp. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his great grand daughter Reghan in 2016, along with his eight siblings.

He was well known as the local door to door salesman for Walkins products for several years. Later he took a position with Sears Canada from where he retired following a career of over 25 years.
