We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Harry Nickerson formerly of Riverview which occurred at his residence, the Drew Nursing Home in Sackville on Thursday, July 22nd. Born in Cape Forchu, Yarmouth, NS to the late Robert and Ethel (Amero) Nickerson, Harry was a manufacturing sales representative by trade, but enjoyed many other pastimes outside of work. He coached T-ball teams, devoted himself to carpentry projects, and marked himself as a "jack-of-all-trades".

Apart from his parents, Harry is predeceased by his brother Charles; sisters Martha Brannen, Gladys Tougas, June Stanley, and Margaret Bain. Harry will be dearly missed by his daughters Tara Libby (George) and Chantille Nickerson (Luke MacAleese); son Shawn Nickerson; sister Pauline Couttreau; his twin brother Douglas (Sherri Coldwell); grandchildren Ethan Libby, Alicia Nickerson-Allen (Stephane Duguay), and Samantha Nickerson-Allen; several nieces and nephews – especially "Tweety Bird"; and special family friend Donna Barter.

His arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home at 330 Whitepine Rd, Riverview (869-2007), where Harry’s family will be receiving friends and relatives for visitation on Thursday, July 29th, 2021 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
