Shirley Clarke of Riverview passed away at the Grass Home on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.  Born in Moncton she was the daughter of the late Ian and Bertha (Rattray) MacTavish.

At the time of her retirement she was as an Executive Assistant with Transport Canada and was previously employed with the Credit Union and City Hall. She enjoyed Sunday dinners with her family, and getting together for birthday lunches and other special occasions with her close circle of friends.

She will be dearly missed by her son Randy Clarke (Rose); sister Linda Tripp (Dave); brother Ken MacTavish; grandchildren Brooklynn Clarke, Zachary LeBlanc, Samuel LeBlanc and several nieces and nephews. 

Aside from her parents she was predeceased by a brother Dale MacTavish.

The family would also like to thank the staff at the "Grass Home" (774 Coverdale Road) for their kindness, compassion and tireless efforts in looking after Shirley over the last year and especially during her last difficult days.  You are the best and are very much appreciated….

Shirley’s family will be receiving friends and relatives on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 3-5 pm and from 6-8 pm at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007).  A service celebrating her life will take place on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Berube presiding.  Masks are encouraged and proof of double vaccination long with a photo ID will be required when entering the funeral home. The interment will take place at Fair Haven Cemetery at a later date. Donations made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by Shirley’s family.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca
