Myles Waye

It is with sad hearts but wonderful memories that we announce the passing of Myles Burnstrope Waye of Riverview, New Brunswick. Surrounded by family he slipped away peacefully at the Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home on November 17th, 2021.

Born in Trout Brook, NB he was the son of George and Florence (Hare) Waye. Besides his parents Myles was predeceased by his sister Marion and brothers James, Lenwood, Boyd, Blair, Gerald and Ronnie.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Dorothy (Jardine) (Bryenton) Waye  of 53 years, his daughters Wanda Case (Kevin), Cindy Brown (David), Judy Duffy (Randy) and Beverly Leger (Romeo). Grandchildren, Maria, Georgia, Jason, Jeffery, Jonathan, Julie, Tanya, Krystal, Josh, Siobhan and Kyra. Great grandchildren Christian, Jessie, Olivia, Royal, Meave, Sophia, Knox and Tyler. And one great great grandchild Lincoln; sister Elsie Swinnerton; sisters in law Audrey Purcell and Donna Waye, and several nieces and nephews.

Myles was a painter by trade and was the sole owner of Ideal Painters and Decorators Ltd. for many years. His work was truly a labour of love. He had many interests in his life such as watching sports, world events and was always up for political debates.  Myles was a man of great integrity, kind and generous to all. He was a great storyteller, loved dancing with Dot and especially loved family gatherings. Christmas was his favourite time of the year. His eyes lit up with every Christmas light.

Myles will be deeply missed by his family and the many friends and neighbours who came to know him over the years.

We would like to thank all the wonderful Nurses and staff at Kenneth Spencer Home for their kindness and care for Myles for the short time he was there.
