If I have landed on this page, I have now gone to the other side and I am on to new adventures. I am very grateful for the wonderful life I have had; I have certainly lived my life. My love of travelling, the outdoors, and the ocean has taken me on many spontaneous adventures over the years with my wonderful family and friends. The fun, the laughter and the love are priceless to all of us.

I have met this disease head on, with acceptance and peace. I owned it. My daughter and loved ones made it easy to stay positive and to carry on day by day. I lived my last years with grace and dignity, and always stayed positive. I go with beautiful memories of a life well lived from all of you that have loved and cared for me, especially the last couple of years. I’ll save you a spot next to me.

I have always worked in customer service, as I have the gift of gab. Most of my career was spent in management at Purolator Courier.

I am predeceased by my late parents, Murray and Grace (Perrin) Colpitts. I am survived by my daughter Kristina Constable (Corey Blakney), my brothers Kenneth Colpitts (late Margaret Jean Colpitts) and Brad Colpitts (Donna Mackay), as well as my nieces and nephews: Katherine Colpitts Beers, Heather, Colin, Kenneth, and Carrie Colpitts, along with their spouses and children.

My Kristina, you’ve been by my side through it all, the fun times, and the tough times. We loved, laughed, and cried together. The deep, unconditional love we have is like nothing else. I love you my child, forever and ever no matter what.

To my brother Kenny and niece Katherine, you have been a continual voice of reason and source of strength for me. Have a cheer for me, keep that love strong and never stop "making memories".

To the "Brunch Girls", I have been so incredibly blessed to have you girls by my side for the last 40 years. Dorothy, Lynn, Kathy, Maria, Marlene, Lori, and most recently Connie and Arlene, you are all extremely special to me.

Kathy and Mike, thank you for sharing "The Shed" with me – my home away from home. It was my favorite place to be – on the water with you two. My time there was the best medicine and filled my heart with peace and love.

The Wells family: Robbie, Donna, Ryan, and Jessica – our second family, your love and support to Kristina and me over the past 25 years is unmeasurable. As we say, "Fate made us neighbors, love made us family".

To Kathy Hayden, you never gave up on me. Thank you.

My handsome boy and furry friend Max, and my grand dog Karma, you were the best kind of comfort I could have asked for.

To the nurses in the Dr. Sheldon H. Rubin Oncology Clinic - you were awesome, and truly caring. A special thanks goes out to Jenna, you were a doll, and fun to work with.

To my family physician, Dr. Catherine Jee, and to the Driscoll Extra-Mural nurses (especially Sam), my family and I are so thankful for your extraordinary care and compassion, you went above and beyond for me, thank you.

Her family will be receiving friends and relatives on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 6-8 pm at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007).  Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private celebration of her life will take place from the funeral home on Friday, February 11, 2022.
