Edward Francis MacNeill, 72, of Riverview, NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on February 26,2022. Born in Iona, Cape Breton, he was a proud "Caper" and equally proud of being the seventh son of the seventh son.

Ed worked in the automotive industry for most of his career - he was the Owner and Operator of Causeway Service Centre, manager of Riverview Tire, and service advisor at CanAm Chrysler. He also worked a number of years at ANBL.

Ed was a kind, generous, and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be forever loved and missed by his wife Lyn (Shaffner/Belliveau), son Jason (Rebecca and her 2 children) MacNeill, stepchildren Michele (Peter) Low and Jeffrey (Isabel) Belliveau, grandchildren Matthew, Taylor, Michael, and Christopher of Ottawa, and brother Douglas (Pat) of Sarnia. Ed is also survived and loved by many nieces and nephews, his dear mother-in-law Eileen Spicer of Bridgetown, and her long-time friend Bill Goodwin of Paradise. He was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Marion (Peterson) MacNeill, brothers Wallace, Robert, Don, Bill, and Lawrence, and sisters Edith and Dolores.

Sincere thanks to our wonderful friends and family who have been so supportive, along with the Palliative Care Team at The Moncton Hospital, Extra Mural Driscoll Unit "angels", and Drs. Boulay, Berger, Searle, and Mansfield.

Ed's family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd, Riverview (869-2007) on Friday, March 4th from 6-8pm. A celebration of life will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, March 5th at 11am with Fr. Charlie Broderick presiding.
