Janet Lea Bird of Pineglen passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at home. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Royce and Irene (Berry) Hope.

Janet will be missed by her husband of 44 years Walter Bird, sons Jamie (Nita) and Jeremy (Christine Richards), sisters Linda (Paul) Dunham and Gloria (Emery) Gallant, brothers Royce Hope and Robin (Shelly) Hope, and her many nieces and nephews.

She will also be remembered by her cherished grandchildren Railey and Hannah.

Aside from her parents, Janet was predeceased by her sister Donna Stables, brother Rodney Hope and her sister-in-law Nancy Hope.

In Janet's memory there will be no funeral services at a funeral home. We will be holding a Celebration of Her Life at the Pine Glen Community Center (1003 Pine Glen Rd, Pine Glen NB) - on March 18th 2022 starting at 2:30pm and will continue until 9:00pm. Please come celebrate her life with us at anytime through out the day, night when you are able to make it. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (869-2007). Donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice, or a random act of kindness may be made in her memory.
