Eileen Edgett (Upham) of Riverview stepped into the arms of
Jesus on November 16,2022, at the Albert House Hospice, at the age of
95. She was born in Dover, NB, and was the daughter of the
late Chester & Althea (Powell) Upham.
Eileen (Granny Go-Go) will be lovingly remembered by her four
children, Wayne (Della) of Moncton; Nancy Haegele (Charlie) of El
Paso, Texas; Darlene Cairns (John) of Moncton; and Ruth Allison (Ron)
of Riverview. Also, seven grandchildren, Matthew Allen
(Lisa); Derek Allen (Cara); Niki Edgett (Will); Natalie Leslie
(Chris); Melissa Carey (Justin); Tess Oliver (Brad); Carrie Haegele
(Alain); as well as eight great grandchildren and several step
grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren,
along with many nieces and nephews. Eileen is pictured above on her

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Ron
in 1992 and brother Elmer (Bud) Upham in 2015.
Eileen was a retired employee of KPMG Chartered Accounting
firm after many years of service. She was also a volunteer
at Spencer Memorial Home and the Albert County Food Bank a few years
ago.
She was a member of the Journey Church, Riverview Campus and
the Moncton Wesleyan Seniors. She was also a member of the
Riverview Parklane Tuesday Senior bowling league, Moncton Fairlanes
Thursday bowling league and the Hillsborough Friday night bowling
league.
Her other hobbies included knitting for her many craft fairs,
Wesleyan Senior bus tours and just hanging out with her two daughters,
Darlene and Ruth, who live here in the city.
The family will be receiving friends and visitors at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Friday, December
2nd from 6-8 pm, with a Celebration of Life
taking place at the funeral home on Saturday, December
3rd at 11:00 am with Pastor David Way
presiding, with a reception to follow. For those unable to attend the
service will be live-streamed.
Those wishing to make a donation in Eileen’s memory
may do so at the funeral home to the Shenstone Cemetery (near
Hillsborough) where some of her family will also be laid to rest, or
to the Albert House Hospice in Moncton. Online
