We sadly announce the passing of Rhonda Ford of Riverview at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, January 3, 2022. Born in Corner Brook, NL, she was the daughter of Sarah (née Butt) and the late Ronald Ford.

Rhonda retired from The Moncton Hospital (Southeast Regional Health Authority) after a 30 year career, where she was the Director of Purchasing.  She loved to cook, and her sweets and cakes were fantastic and very hard to resist; her treats, especially her Nanaimo Bars, will be dearly missed! 

Besides her mother, left to mourn her absence are her two sisters Cindy Whalen (Keith) and Marguerite Cerrato (James), nieces and nephews Melanie Warner (Heber), Tosha Whalen (Daniel), Stephen Ward (Janice), and Jason Ward (Deanne), grandnieces and grandnephews Lily, Anthony, Shea, Ellanie, Simon, Julien, Renito, James, Michael, Abby, Jason, and Mathew, her 2 furry friends Lucy and Charlie, and her many friends and colleagues.

Honouring her wishes, cremation has taken place at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd, Riverview (869-2007). A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Donations made to the Oncology Department at The Moncton Hospital in her memory would be appreciated by her family.
