We sadly announce the peaceful passing of Edward LeBlanc of
Riverview on February 11, 2023, at The Moncton Hospital. Born in
Shediac, he was the son of the late William and Geneva (Gallant)
LeBlanc.
Edward’s career as an orderly at The Moncton
Hospital spanned 35 years and ended with his retirement. Known as
"Crazy Eddy", he was well-loved at work and loved his job in
return. Primarily in the geriatric’s unit, he used laughter
and humor to comfort the patients he worked with and was also known to
pull pranks on his coworkers. In his free time, he loved nothing more
than to listen to music from his record collection, dance, and watch
movies. His family remembers him as always being the life of the
party.
He will be dearly missed by his sons Nathaniel and Aaron
(Vanessa), grandson Landon, sister Margaret-Anne (Derek), nephews
Marc, Christopher, and Matt, and his close family Bill, Gail, Ian, and
Darren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Susan
Clements.
A funeral service will take place at Cobb’s Funeral
Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-20074) on
Wednesday, February 15th at 2pm with Father
Phil Mulligan officiating. The interment will take place in St.
Joseph’s Cemetery, Shediac at a later date. Donations to
Holy Family Church would be appreciated by his family.
