It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Duncan on May 1, 2023, at the Georges L. Dumont Hospital.

Born in Whitehead, NS he was the son of the late Earl Duncan and Louise Wilson.

Michael was employed as a mechanic and transport driver.

He will be dearly missed by his daughter Laura (Allan) Belmore; son Jeremiah Duncan; sisters Gloria (Betty) Duncan; Earlene Chapman; grandchildren Adam, Jessica, Steven, Joey, Nicholas, and Rosie.

Aside from his parents he was predeceased by his wife Katherine, daughter Karen Clark and brothers Bill and George Duncan.

Respecting his wishes, cremation has taken place at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007).  Thank you to the Cardiology Specialist Team 4C at the Georges L. Dumont Hospital for the care and support during Michael’s stay, it was greatly appreciated. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
