Born in Maccan, NS in 1942 to the late Vera (Harrison) and Cecil Purdy.  Resided and worked in Mississauga for most of his adult life.  Married to the late Muriel (Cookie) (Weatherbee), and survived by sons Kirk (Wendy) & Randy; 4 grandchildren – Steven, Chrystal, Jackie & Jessie; great-grandchildren Tanner and Isabel; sisters Barbara (late George) Theal, Sheila (late Larry) Jack, brother Layton (Charlotte), sister in law Nellie, and many cousins, nephews & nieces who will miss him.  Bowling, car races, monster trucks, working on vehicles, collecting all models of cars & trucks that filled his rooms at Camden & Monarch Hall was his passion.

A multitude of thanks to the staff at both homes for their kindness to Wyman and his family over the past several years. 

A private burial will take place at the Athol Cemetery at a later date.  His arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007).  Online condolences may be expressed at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca
