It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tina which occurred Saturday, September 16, 2023 at The Dr. George L. Dumont University Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Growing up in Richibucto, she is the daughter of Eusebe Vautour Jr. of Claire-Fontaine and Linda (Hudson) Vautour of Saint John. Tina most recently was employed with Champlain Seafood as a benefits coordinator, prior to which she has been with Medavie Blue Cross for a number of years. She will be remembered for her loving personality, positive attitude and for giving back. She enjoyed travelling, parties, planning fundraisers and loved the Christmas season. Tina was instrumental in making sure that her daughter’s RHS graduating class of 2021 still had their prom despite the restrictions of that time.

Besides her parents, she will be dearly missed by her daughter, Madison Joseph (Hunter Shaw), her partner of 16 years Brian Cormier, sister Lisa Hunter, brother Kermit Vautour, nieces and nephews Christine Babineau (Geoff Emery), Dan Babineau (Amy Chatham), Megan Vautour, Kyle Vautour, and many other relatives.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of the Dr. George L. Dumont University Hospital for their kindness, support, and care for Tina during her illness.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Wednesday Sept. 20, 2023 from 1 – 3 PM. Donations to the Atlantic Wellness Community Center would be appreciated by the family in lieu of flowers.
