It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hazel Pearl Rickard "Grammy/Sis" of Riverview, NB at the Moncton Hospital on November 3rd, 2023. Born in Moncton she as the daughter of the late Horace Constable and Hazel Pearl Crossman.
She was formally employed by the Town of Riverview as Town Clerk /Manager well before Riverview became a Town. She cherished spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids, she loved being their Grammy. She enjoyed summers at the lake and winters with her Florida friends.
Aside from her parents she was predeceased by her husband Richard and son Kevin; siblings Bill (Mary Jane), Jack (Greta), Bud (Bea), Lester (Eileen), Helen (Watson), Reta (Herb), Ralph (Mary).
She will be dearly missed by her children Terry (Janice), Brent (Debbie) and Craig (Bonnie); brother Horace (Ella); Neice Judy (Jerry); Grandchildren Justin (Annie), Brandon (Sarah), Ryan (Jessica), Jenaya, Kurt (Jasmine), Justine, Chris (Courtney); Great-Grandchildren Jade, Max, Cash, Charlie Hazel, Richard, Liam, Sage, Myles, Shay, Jace; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. We would like to thank all her homecare friends and a very special thanks to friends and neighbors Joanne and Glen Guitard for all their love , help and support.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, November 11th, 2023 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm in the back room at Five Bridges Bar and Grill, 121 Pine Glen road, Riverview, NB. Donations made to IWK would be appreciated by her family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca
