It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Dan Wetmore of Riverview, which occurred Friday, January 19, 2024 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Halifax, he is the son of Dave and Annette (Craig) Radtke.

Dan was a true and genuine sports enthusiast, who loved hockey, tennis and football to name a few. He also loved The Simpsons, horror movies and his holidays with family. He has been employed with Purolator Courier for 27 years and was an International Specialist with them. However, his true calling was on Saturday mornings at the Moncton Farmers Market. Where he worked along side his son and Market Family as the master grill chef at Kurt Sausage. His presence will truly be missed on Saturday mornings.

Aside from his parents he will forever be in the hearts of his wife Kim (Whittaker), son Zach (Audréane Potvin), Sisters; Ashley Vasquez (Juan) and Melanie Radtke (Scott), father in law Karl Whittaker, in laws Kellie and Scott Vail, Kevin and Marielle Whittaker, uncle, Mike Craig (Freda), aunt, Joan Fawcett (Jack), niece Mackenzie and nephew Riley. Dan will also be missed by his best fur friend Jessie Girl.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A service celebrating Dan’s life will take place from the funeral home on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 11am.  Donations to United Way would be appreciated by the family.
