Dorothy Stewart of Moncton passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Campbellton, N.B. on August 24, 1928,  she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Alice (Keith) McGrath.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Nancy (Daniel Coffin), Douglas (Donna), Susan (Donald ), Ellen and Barbara (Douglas Gayton); grandchildren, Devin (Jenn) Coffin, Katie (Rory) Beck, Michael (Kristi Pickering) Coffin, Lesley (Jeff) Decker, Jock and Nicholas Downs, Craig Gayton, Jillian and Derek Hachey; great-grandchildren, Sadie & Isla Coffin, Lucy Coffin, Malcolm and Daisy Beck and Kenzie Decker, sisters, Edith (Peekie) Nolan and Anne (Tookie) Walker, brother Patrick McGrath (Gert) as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Dorothy was predeceased her husband William (Bill) in 2021, grand daughter, Heather Gayton and a brother, Nelson McGrath(2019).                                         

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (506-869-2007) on Friday May 10th from 6-8 PM, with parish prayers taking place at 7:30 PM from the funeral home. A funeral mass will be celebrated from Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday May 11, 2024 at 11 AM. Donations to Lakeville Cemetery or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
