Helen Crossman of Pine Glen NB passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday Feb. 27, 2024 with her family at her side.  Born in Moncton she was the daughter of the late Percy Schofield and Matilda (O'Blenis)

Prior to her retirement Helen worked at Deluxe French Fries on St. George St. and Rivercrest Variety in Gunningsville for several years.  She was an amazing woman who excelled at everything she attempted, from cooking, baking, knitting, crocheting, bowling and darts.  She was known for making excellent divinity fudge and donuts.

She will be dearly missed by sons Robert and Travis (Valerie) and her daughters Judith Hillier (Robert), Linda Gray, Dawn Mercure, son in law Robert Lutes, and sister Beatrice Schofield, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.  Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Russell, sister Ethel Lutz, daughters Marilyn Lutes and Carolyn Cameron.

Respecting her wishes, cremation will take place at Cobb's funeral Home and Cremation Center and a private graveside service will take place At Fair Haven Cemetery at a later date.  Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
