Steven Eagles, always addressed as Uncle Steve, sadly passed
away on Monday, February 26th,
2024.
Steven will be deeply missed by his parents Rick and Donna
(Barnes) Eagles, brother and sister-in-law David and Angela, niece and
nephew Ashley and Kyle, and his great niece Evelyn. He was predeceased
by his maternal grandparents, Lytton and Lorna Barnes, and his
paternal grandparents Harold and Ethel Eagles.
Steven was dedicated to his family and never missed a holiday
or family gathering. He deeply cherished his niece and nephew and
adored his great niece. He would do anything for them and would help
them out, even if it was picking up a marketplace item. Every holiday
and birthday he would always give crazy cards, joking around with his
brother and favorite pain in the butt sister-in-law as he would always
call her. He also had a passion for movies and had an extensive
collection of movies and tv series.
Steven was dedicated and reliable to his work with the Town
of Riverview for 19 years. In 2013, Steven suffered a devastating
injury while on the job. Despite the injuries, he never let them get
him down and would always be grateful for each day. He would do
everything physio instructed to help aid in his healing to try and
return to life as normal but still faced mobility and pain
issues.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.
Riverview, NB (506-869-2007) on Saturday, March
9th, 2024, from 3:00pm to
5:00pm. Donations would be appreciated by the family to Hospice SENB,
The Humanity Project or a memorial of the donor’s
choice.
