1933 - 2024

Our dear mother, Tina Dunning (90), of Riverview, NB, passed away peacefully at Moncton City Hospital on April 05, surrounded by her loving family.

Mom was an epic lady and a phenomenal matriarch whose life was dedicated to nurturing and raising her family. As a devoted mother, she embodied the true essence of love and sacrifice, always putting the needs of her family above her own.

She was a selfless and kind-hearted person who touched the lives of all who knew her with her unwavering compassion and generosity. Her boundless love, care, and humor created a home filled with warmth, food, laughter, and endless memories for her family and all those she adopted into her family along the way. Her faith was not only a cornerstone of her life but also a guiding light for how she lived each day with grace and humility.

Mom will be deeply missed, but we know that her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved and cherished and her legacy of love, kindness, and faith will continue to inspire and guide us all. May she rest in peace, knowing the profound impact she has had on our lives and the world around her.

Mom is survived by sister Mary (Peter), her children, Sylvia, Sharon (Dave), Dan, and Marlene (Peter) and two daughters-in-law Helen and Stephanie, her grandchildren Kenneth (Erin), Tracey (Dave), Jennifer, Katrina (Corey), Dexter, Cody (Grey), Kenton, Matthew, Nicholas, and Caitlin, her great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Alexander, Addie, Ash, and Harper, and additional family members Karen, Marek, Madeline, and Nathan.

She was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Anna, her sister Helen, and brother Peter, her spouse Arthur, her sons Edwin and James, and Lou, with who she was lucky enough to share many happy years in later life.

A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at the Moncton Wesleyan Church, 945 St George Boulevard, on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. (506-869-2007).

We would like to thank all the staff at Moncton City Hospital Emergency Department and Palliative Care Unit for the compassion and care they provided to Mom and her family.

In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to Moncton City Hospital or the Canadian Lung Association.
